Taekwondo - The Way of the Hand and Foot

Our traditional martial art (ages 5 and up) that develops and emphasizes the tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Self-control, Perseverance, and Indomitable spirit. As students progress through the belt ranks, elements of other martial art styles are studied and practiced. While the goal is for the student to have the tools to be confident in self-defense situations, long-term practitioners usually discover that Taekwondo is much more than punching and kicking. Long-term practice develops a good internal 'balance' and puts the practitioner in better harmony with others. Training to fight often lessens the need to do so in everyday life.

Hapkido - The Way of Harmony

A rigorous class for teens and adults which is highly self-defense oriented. Students learn practical self-defense, with basics of all aspects of a physical confrontation: striking, wrestling, ground defense, joint locks, and weapons.

Basic Self-Defense

For those who want to learn basic self-defense outside of a belt-rank traditional program. Men's and Women's classes would be specifically tailored to each and cannot be offered simultaneously.

Basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Ground fighting. No class is specifically offered, but jiu-jitsu basics are covered in our Taekwondo curriculum and basic self-defense programs.
